New Comprehensive Web Site Helps Local Parents Find Child-Based Businesses and Childcare With Ease

Meridian, ID. April 2, 2008 – Idaho Parents Directory, LLC today announced the launch of a comprehensive Web site designed to help area parents locate local providers and child-based businesses through an online search. The Web site, found at www.IdahoParentsDirectory.com, contains a variety of content designed to assist parents in the community in locating area businesses targeted at children.

Idaho Parents Directory, LLC contains tactical information about childcare with dynamic content for parents to facilitate their childcare research. “This Web site was developed with the parent in mind. As a mother of three and a previous provider myself, I realize how difficult it is to find the time and the energy to search for a new childcare. I have worked with many parents who are frustrated or exhausted from their search. This site is designed to ease that frustration,” said Lisa Scott, owner of Idaho Parents Directory, LLC.

Parents begin by running a search by city. Nearby cross streets are provided with each listing to help better define a provider’s location. Parents also have the options of using a Day Care Request Form or using the search engine to type in a name, phone number or cross street to help narrow their search. “Many Parents hear of providers by word of mouth, but sometimes the information they receive isn’t complete. Parents now have a tool where they can type in the first name of the provider, their phone number or cross street and the search engine will then provide detailed information about where to find that particular provider’s listing, “ explained Lisa.

Lisa Scott has also included other important resources for parents including: Parenting Support Groups/Classes; Fun Places to Go; Special Needs Providers and 24 Hour Providers.

"I could feel the area’s need for a modern Web site that addressed the increasing need for quality childcare and access to it. I hope to provide a dynamic site for parents and providers to utilize and refer to often,” continued Scott.
